Hello! I’ve had some big learning happening that I’d like to share with you, so you understand the connection as it happens for you. A couple of weeks ago, on a Friday, I had an ancestral clearing session to release generational “curses,” think beliefs or patterns. I was open to clearing anything needing to be cleared as this helps me and my ancestral line 7 generations back and 7 generations forward. The specific intention for the release was anxiety. I carry anxiety that is not all mine. Yes, I deal with anxiety, but “bigger than me” is the only way I can describe it sometimes. There are layers of behaviors in my family that would fall in the anxiety category regardless of how they present in each person. So off I go to the ceremony, and I am all in. Saturday morning, I notice what I thought was a spider bite on my left lower body. As the day went on, I became so anxious I was spiraling. The bite on my body was getting increasingly uncomfortable, and I felt like I was coming out of my skin. Fast forward through the next couple of days when I am so busy working that I am crying at night because I am so weak and tired. That pushing through no matter the toll is part of the generational problem! I am realizing the pattern is so deeply ingrained in me that even though I am aware of it I never change it. Wednesday, I finally get to the doctor. I have shingles. My mouth was literally hanging open. They tell me I am as sick as I feel, and I have to go home to bed and rest. What?! I don’t have time to rest – that’s not what my family does. So, of course, I push and take Leo to his training classes and end up crying through one of them. Sigh. I began putting the pieces together. The ceremony for generational anxiety happened Friday. Saturday, my body literally starts exploding, clearing, from the sacral nerve bundle down (family, safety, security) on my left side, which represents the women in a family. Here is what was accomplished. An ancestral clearing (spirit), anxiety and stress (mind), shingles (body), sorting out how to rest or not rest (mind, body, spirit). The point is the mind, body, and spirit connection is so important. I call it physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual (pems).
It is all connected. You, your ancestors, your body, mind, spirit, and the patterns, curses, and stories that are carried in your DNA. What are the ancestral patterns in your family that are not serving you? How do they show up for you, and how can you change the narrative? Take care of yourself. Find a way to work with the patterns and change a few of them. It’s hard work. I am still processing and learning about this one.
