Hello! How are you? In Maryland, the weather is giving us respite and reinvigoration with sunshine and cooler breezes. I have been opening windows to clear the energy of my space. Opening windows with the intention of clearing is an easy and effective way to move things out. Tip for the day 😀 I have to tell you a story! I have more proof our loved ones are with us - our beloved pets, too. Recently I was sitting on the porch with my family. My husband brings up our beloved doggie who passed several years ago. A few moments later we see the butterfly my boy uses as his sign. Not just any butterfly, it is a specific color and the one he signaled us with when he first crossed. I have a family of 3, there were 3 butterflies! They played together and hung around for 5 – 10 minutes. Because of the anomoly of the butterflies, we realized it was the day of his passing 6 years ago. Happy tears of love. But wait there is more, about 30 minutes later, I randomly open an app I rarely use. The app opens and on the screen is the name and photo of a dog, yes, of course, the same unusual name and spelling of our boy’s name. These were clearly signs our beloved boy was saying hello, I’m here, and I love you too! We didn’t realize the significance of the day. We weren’t looking for anything. My husband saying he misses him and a moment later seeing the butterflies is not a coincidence. It is the brilliance of Spirit and specifically my boy. His name on the screen helps make the sign clear and undeniable. At the moment of the butterflies, I knew what the topic of this newsletter would be. However, it is never that simple; sitting down to write I realize this connects to a podcast episode and builds on September’s newsletter message. Wow- I didn’t do that. In Episode 5 of Adventures With Spirit, we talk about connecting with our loved ones and how signs may show up for us. Your loved one really can reach out to you and even help you. The intensity and frequency of signs may change as your needs change. This is a fluid communication stream. Ask for a sign if you feel you are not receiving one, and then notice. Don’t demand or look for it - just notice. It will probably not be an everyday occurrence as that may not be helpful for you. Expanding on the importance of connections from the last newsletter; there are ways to create connections in your life with the support of your loved ones who have returned to soul form, your guides, and angels. Sometimes the connection, sign, message, is a lovely surprise and reminds or encourages you to seek these connections intentionally. For instance, the signs from my boy were a lovely surprise and a connection to him. Intentional connection is when you choose to be connected. I have been challenged recently in various ways and have been feeling as though I am not as connected to my guides as I would like to be. When I feel this way, I give myself the time and space to connect with them, the guidance comes and the messages are received. If you place your awareness on the love and support that is always there for you, what happens? Give it a try ask for what you need and notice the messages that come your way. You will receive a response whether you are immediately aware or it comes a little later. It will come. If you are a person who normally is intentional in connecting, have you done so lately? The reminder we are not alone is wonderful. Your angels, guides, and loved ones can and will connect with you. Some very clearly, some more subtly. Be open to the signs and messages of love and support that come your way.
