Hello! How are you? How is your intention or word of the year going? A few months into a new year often shows us what is not working. This is a good time to check in with yourself. Where are you in your hopes and plans for 2023? What can you do to align more fully with your intention? My word of the year is well-being. My intention with this word is the total package – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I am working with it and there is movement, but I am seeing all the ways I am hindered, not able to complete plans or goals, and the patterns that limit me. The good news is I am seeing the patterns that limit me and prevent my well-being. This requires action to make change which takes even more time and effort, keeping the state of well-being beyond my reach. I am identifying the ways my life prevents my well-being so I can make supportive changes. I am having to create more work for myself as I build systems that will hopefully save me time and energy. I know each overwhelming moment, task, responsibility, and even failure leads me closer to living in a state of well-being. It is my intention; I will create it. I don’t know when, but each little improvement helps me to get there. Well-being, it’s a big concept with a large application. I am sure your plan is multi-layered as well, even if it seems straightforward. Let’s take a nice deep breath and exhale. Let go of any stress involved in moving toward your 2023 intention. Remind yourself you are a work in progress, and you are doing the best you can in the moment. Reset your focus and determination to create the intention and do it – one step at a time. You know this; this is simply a reminder. Transformation needs self-love and self-awareness. Find the truth behind your desires. What motivates you? What brings you happiness? Where in your life can you add rainbows, or at least, appreciation for them? I wish you joy and grace as you find new ways to reinvent yourself this year.
