As Spirit often does, the topic of this month’s newsletter shifted unexpectedly. Initially, I had something else planned, but after noticing the signs and messages pointing toward our beloved animals—especially those who have already crossed over—it became clear what I needed to share with you. 

With Spirit’s guidance this month, we’re focusing on our sacred relationships with our pets. Here’s what I’ll be covering:

Soul Contracts with Our Pets

We share soul contracts with our pets, just like with people. When I say "pets," I’m referring to those animals who hold a special place in your heart—whether a dog, cat, horse, or any other companion that shares your life.

Our pets come into our lives for a reason. They offer lessons, meet needs we didn’t even know we had, and give us unconditional love in its purest form. I think back to my pets—those soul connections vital in shaping my life— those that simply made me happy and those whose presence held deep meaning and offered profound lessons.

One of these connections is with my soul dog. I hadn’t seen his signs in a long time, but he reached out to me again this week. Three signs in one day. It wasn’t until I sat down to write this that I realized he had inspired the topic for this newsletter. He’s been with each of my family members through many lifetimes, and even though he has since transitioned, I still feel his presence deeply. He is sacred to me, and I hold his name close, but I know he is still with me, working through my current dog, Leo.

Each of our pets is here for a purpose. Some relationships are more profound than others, but every soul connection matters. Whether you’re experiencing the joy of a pet’s companionship or mourning their loss, know there is a reason, a purpose, and a gift behind it all.

Death: A Sacred Transition

Losing a pet is one of our most challenging experiences as pet parents. The grief and mourning are real, but it’s essential to know that our animals understand the circumstances of their passing. Whether it’s an accident, a natural passing, or the difficult decision of euthanasia, I’ve learned through my work as a medium that animals always understand and support the decisions we make on their behalf.

When animals transition, they are never upset with us. They know the timing, and it’s always aligned with their journey. I’ve spoken with many animals in spirit form, and they always convey that their passing—no matter how difficult—is accepted and peaceful. They support the choice and continue loving us unconditionally from the other side.

A Message of Hope and Comfort

If you are grieving the recent loss of a pet, know that your companion is still with you. Their soul continues to thrive in love and joy; they are always there to guide and support you. Our animals have much to teach us, even after they’ve transitioned. I hope this message brings comfort to those of you who need it.

This message isn’t my idea—it is Spirit-led, and I am simply the messenger. If you’ve cared for an animal who had a challenging life in any way, know that you’ve performed a great service, and they will continue to serve you, either here or in spirit. Our relationships with animals are symbiotic, full of mutual love and respect.

Take a moment to reflect on your relationship with your pet. Have you noticed the ways they support you emotionally and spiritually? What lessons have they taught you? Whether your pet is here with you or has transitioned, that connection remains, and their soul continues to support your life’s journey.
