Hello! Do you feel like you’ve run a marathon in January?! This year is moving quickly, yet not. I hope you’ve been able to create space for your intentions and reflection. Intention is one of my favorite words for purpose and action, and it's important to recognize how it can function in different contexts. Intentions can act as guiding principles for our actions, shaping our goals and desires. However, when we consider intention as prayer, we shift our focus from personal goals to a spiritual request for support. The distinction lies in the approach: while intention is often centered around self-driven actions, intention as prayer indicates a deeper call for divine assistance or alignment with a higher purpose. They are powerful tools for manifestation, empowerment, flow, and self-nurturing. Yet, it’s easy to overlook the power that intentions hold, and sometimes we toss them “out there” without genuine energy behind them. Finding your power in asking for help through intention, prayer, or request taps into your courage, trust, and faith. When you send out an intention, you must believe it will be received and answered, even if not in the way you expect. We often don’t know the details needed for our highest good, and that’s where trust becomes essential. Sometimes, it’s also about communicating our intentions with clarity and conviction. When you share your requests with Spirit, do you genuinely believe you need what you are requesting? Can you express your thoughts and energy in words that your Spirit Team, Universal Consciousness, or God Consciousness can clearly receive? Trust plays a significant role here. Speaking from the heart creates an energy and frequency that strengthens the connection.
